Coconut oil Produce Method
There are primarily three ways to produce virgin coconut oil:
Fermentation method : In this coconut milk / cream prepared using fresh mature coconuts is allowed to ferment which produces coconut oil
Cold press / expeller pressed method: This method uses pressure through a mechanical press to extract oil from dried coconut flakes
Centrifugal process: This uses centrifugal power to separate coconut oil from coconut
As the name suggest the key aspect of the whole method is centrifuge. A centrifuge is a an equipment driven by electricity which rotates around a fixed axis. You must have seen a washing machine dryer, it works on the same principle drum acts as and water is literally forced out due to the fast spinning. How does this work in case of coconut oil?
In case of coconut oil extraction using centrifugal method the first step is to produce coconut milk using fresh mature coconut meat. Coconut milk actually is a natural oil in water emulsion. An emulsion consists of two immiscible liquids, where one is dispersed as very fine droplets into another. When kept for sometime this unstable emulsion starts separating but takes too much time, this is where centrifugal process helps.
With the use of centrifugal process the separation speed of oil and water is greatly enhanced without using any chemical process of heat. As centrifuge moves, coconut oils starts moving towards the its centre and then can be collected. This separates coconut oil and water.

How They Work
Fuyi Centrifuge separator are characterized by their ability to process many times the volume of their tubular bowl. Fluid mixtures are fed into the bottom of the rapidly rotating separating chamber. Solid are retained, while components are expelled from the top of the chamber through a collection tray.
For Liquid-Liquid separation, two collection trays are used. The retained solid cake is dry and densely packed by the high G-forces of the Fuyi Centrifuge. Plastic bowl liner are available for models GF/GQ-105/125/150 to facilitate cell paste removal.
